Credit Education Booklet

I developed the Credit Education Booklet as an alternative to traditional product catalogs, turning a standard marketing piece into an educational resource that built trust and long-term engagement. By focusing on credit awareness and practical guidance, rather than just shopping, the booklet helped prospective customers understand how Fingerhut could support their financial journey toward a brighter credit future.

SCOPE
This project involved concepting, writing, and designing a full editorial-style booklet that blended education with brand storytelling. Working from the ground up, I developed a fresh layout system, new graphic elements, and approachable infographics to make complex financial topics feel clear, engaging, and visually digestible.

IMPACT
The Credit Education Booklet reached both new and dormant audiences, extending engagement beyond the standard catalog lifecycle. Its cost-effective print model and positive audience response provided valuable insights for future mail strategies, proving the value of content-driven communication in driving awareness and conversion.

To extend the reach beyond print, we created a digital version of the booklet and promoted it through a targeted email campaign. Sent to both customers who hadn’t received the mailer, the email linked directly to an interactive version of the guide, encouraging engagement, downloads, and continued brand interaction.
